Uncertain Times

Spring has arrived, yet, none of us quite know how to emerge out of our safe havens yet. We have to force ourselves to be positive because each day seems to loom in darkness throughout the globe. As for now, we have to take life one day at a time. Coronavirus has forced us to do that even though we should have been doing that all along. The everyday hustle and bustle has come to a screeching halt. We are all walking around like zombies wondering what we are going to do next.

The sheep, for instance, don’t care what day it is or what they are going to do next. They just simply graze without a care in the world.

We need to take some time for some self evaluation during this time and think about how we can change the world to make it a better place. We have to move forward but be positive in moving forward. Difficulties, during this time, has no doubt, brought or will bring most of us to their knees and we are all gonna have to fight harder than most of us ever imagined possible. Still, we must fight to see another day. Life is not fair, nor are the catastrophic days ahead of us but we must stay in the fight and keep grazing.

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” -Victor Frankl-

Natural Elements

Sometimes a walk in the woods helps bring some things back into perspetive. Walking by undisturbed areas makes one wonder what the same area might have been like years before and emphasizes how important preservation is. We are all equal in our responsiblilty to maintain these areas to give future generations the ability to see the same pristine forms of nature.

Perception

You see two photographs, but which one truly pulls at the heart of your imagination? One could say that color actually paints a picture, or does it?

The truth is that we all perceive things differently no matter what the situation. Some see the positive and some see the negative of any given situation or topic. Some see both and some see one or the other. Where do you stand?

My mind is drawn into the black and white; but here’s why….

In my mind, I can make the black and white image anything I want it to be. The rose could be pink, blue, or yellow if I wanted it to be. The idea here is that just because something may look dull or mundane doesn’t mean that it actually is. We need to quit looking at life that way. I know, right now you’re thinking that “I don’t think that way” but we all do, it’s just part of our existence and we all have the power to change it one flower at a time.
